Helpful hints to prepare for the Estate Sale:

Once you sign our agreement, please do not discard or donate any items unless it is trash. We will attempt to sell everything. Any items we can’t sell we will donate or discard at the end of the sale. This includes clothing items, sealed food, opened food, bathroom items, and cleaning items. You will be amazed at what people purchase at an estate sale. We will decide if any items need to be trashed at the time of the setup.

Please leave all items in the cabinets, drawers, and shelves which are being sold in the sale. Remove any items which you are taking with you. Do not box up items being sold in the sale. It is a lot easier for us to set up the house and not unpack boxes. If there are already boxed items in the closets or garage, that is fine.

If there are smaller items not for sale at the time of the setup, please place these items in one area (ex: closet) and mark those items “Not for Sale”.

Larger items not for sale should be marked clearly or give us a list and we will mark those items for you.

If you wish to sell picture frames, please remove any personal photos.

As we set up the sale, we will box up any personal items we find and put them on the side for you.

We need to begin the setup a minimum of 10 days prior to the sale. We will contact you prior to that time to make arrangements for access. We set up early so we can get photos of the home being ready. After the setup, we will begin our advertising campaign well in advance of the sale.

If there are items which don’t sell at the end of the sale and you would like them, please let us know what they are or plan to be there before we begin packing everything up for the donation truck.
